You can always count on Gates brand for quality. I bought this for my 2002 Chevy Tahoe LT having the 5.3 Vortex motor. It comes complete minus your fan clutch and cooling fan. My running tempuratures were a little higher prior to having to change my water pump due to seepage of coolant. It was probably just a deal but none the less, I didn't have time to figure it out and my original water pump has seen thousands of hard miles as I travel a lot. Since installing this pump, I have monitored my tempuratures and running about 192 instead of around 210 degrees. Yes I put fresh Orange coolant back in the radiator but had my coolant concentrated to deal with minus tempuratures down to minus 20. The water pumps are brand new, not rebuilt.
