Seems good but heater is on and it’s not even cold yetSearched three states for a heated hose in freezing February. Finally was able to get this for delivered to the park we were staying at in Texas. And just in time.Connected it, slid the insulated collars around the fixtures and zipped them up and plugged it in. The cord lit right up.Got up the next morning it was 22 degrees at 7am and I had water.Exactly how it was supposed to beI purchased one of these hoses a couple of years ago and it got me through 2 winters camping in my motor home. I had a problem with the hose fittings leaking with this year’s installation so decided to purchase another one. I’ve found this heated hose can operate down to temperatures beyond the manufactures rating IF it is also wrapped with foam pipe insulation. I have been camping in South Dakota these past 2 years and temps dropped to -20F on occasion and I’m hoping to get through another Winter successfully.Very well made, easy to install and arrived just in time for freezing weather. Worked very well without monitoringAfter having a frozen water line after being in the 19 degree night, I went and bought this. Hasn’t been that cold since, but I feel better knowing that the line won’t freeze again. The overall material of the hose feels very inferior, very hard, not easy to store, and takes up a lot of space; the quality of the screw joint is not as good as expected, and there is no matching screw adapter, should I buy it separately???Awesome concept, may possibly be a good product with a defect in my order. Bought hose, took my family up to mountains and was excited to not have to unhook my hose during the first freeze. Turned it in for the first time and the “crimp” (not the fixture) on the male end leaked immediately. Will return once I get back home. Let’s hope for a better experience next time. This hose did great during our 20f freeze and 8” of snow. It kept a melted line in the snow the whole time. Then the coupling began leaking inside my trailer. Luckily I found it quickly and shut it down. I emailed the company and they responded quickly sending me a new one on warranty. Over two weeks go by and nothing. I email them again and a few days later get a response that they are NOW sending me the new one and provided a tracking number. That’s pretty frustrating considering we are still freezing at night and I wish I had a heated hose to leave out. I hope this is just a fluke because otherwise the hose had been great.Poor quality threads especially on male end where it was warped, could never get a seal. Bought a different brand and it had awesome threads and sealed easily.Didn't even work for one use. Leaked and failed at both ends. Get heat tape instead.Best thing for temperature drop below freezing
