I like the way they tie, and the grip on the bottom is super when I run in my aqua class. I highly recommend.I loved these shoes! Lightweight, fit my feet perfectly, and absolutely functional in multiple settings. I hiked with these in the pouring rain in the Jamaican lush mountain forests and rode horses with them in the ocean. They worked perfectly for all those activities and gripped the mountain’s slippery rocks really well considering they are not mountain boots. They don’t dry as fast in humid climates comparative to other less good quality water shoes. But overall they are excellent!Shoes are comfortable.I bought these shoes just before a trip to Belize as I knew I’d be doing a lot of jungle hiking but also water sports. I was hesitant to go all in on a paid of brand new shoes and didn’t bring any other hiking or water shoes, but I am so glad I did. These shoes are amazing! They were absolutely perfect for the ATM cave tour through sharp and slippery rocks underground and crossing rivers. I can then let them dry, throw on some socks, and use them as hiking shoes. Between these and my Z trails I have the perfect lightweight packable travel lineup for almost any trip. Added bonus-the sparrow color is beautiful. Love these xero shoes as always!Can't wait to try these out. Worn them around the house so far and they fit wellThese shoes run a little snug in the toe box. I recommend ordering a half size bigger than your normal shoes. I received mine in the mail and sent back to get half size larger and the company and process of returning was smoothe and painless. Overall excellent service and great shoes. I used to use Merrell water shoes but the variety I wore was discontinued and the new version is leather. I am vegan and don't wear leather so I tried these shoes out. I'm so glad I did! I absolutely love these shoes.I bought these to take to the beach but I do wear water shoes anytime I am swimming. I have many different types of water shoes. I really worried about the price tag. I will say the firmer sole made it a little easier to walk on the beach. I have kept them & have not used any of my other water shoes since.I sized up a 1/2 size - the size 9 was too tight and short, the 9 1/2 fits With the more narrow fit getting them on takes a little effort but I like how they fit and feel. Good traction.
